On October 9 at 13:15, a citizen of the Artsakh Republic born in 1966 Aram Tepnants was killed on the spot after being fatally wounded in the chest by an Azerbaijani sniper while working in a pomegranate orchard near the town of Martakert.
Aram Tepnants was driving the field at a distance of about 1 km from the Azerbaijani positions. The peacekeepers were in that area and one of the peacekeepers was in the tractor cabin with Aram for security, but all that did not prevent the sniper from targeting the tractor driver with 4-5 shots.
